Sleepwalker - A short history of the character

Running for about 33 issues, the character was quite well received in his time. He was able to develop and, while in the beginning all the indications ran towards a character only interested in the evil side of his bargain further on the line he was able to develop more thoroughly and with more intent. However, the dimension from which he spawned is also a good way to make his intentions and his type of character more believable. It is not in his nature to be neither good nor evil but he acts out in many ways out of an instinct that all in his kind share. While in this particular position, he will fight a lot of good characters but many times he has no choice in the matter.

Popular Villains of Sleepwalker

Most notable are the characters that he battles with in his dream state. He is often times caught in a web of deception and he is unable to tell whether he can understand the reason for which his demeanor is the way it is. He makes no effort to contradict his nature and, many times he will fight evil images of the Avengers, of the well known X-Factor team as well as the evil Mindscape representations of the X-Men. His world is one of dream and a world that doesn’t necessarily feed on good energy or on positive thoughts.
Value of the Sleepwalker as a collectible The Sleepwalker is by all means a popular series and most importantly, due to it being discontinued the value of the well preserved samples will continue to increase. Of course, while many other older collections will have a better starting price for acquisition, you can be sure that in time Sleepwalker comics will raise to the challenge of better prices
