New Line’s Walter Hamada to oversee DC film slate for Warners
After the box office disappointment of Justice League, it was announced that Warner Bros. had begun restructuring their DC Films division by shifting previous point man Jon Berg out. Now, according to Heat Vision, Warners’ new choice to take the reigns of the DC brand is New Line executive Walter Hamada, who helped shepherd IT as well as The Conjuring universe, and is a close confidante of Aquaman director James Wan.

Coco wins third-straight weekend, Justice League passes $600M
For the third weekend in a row, Disney•Pixar‘s Coco topped the domestic box office with $18.3 million to bring its North American total to $135.5 million. Internationally, the film added another $55.3 million this weekend and has now reached $254 million, with $128 million coming from China and $56.6 million from Mexico.
